You're never too old for VeggieTales!
My 13 year old was telling me just this week that her youth group had requested a VeggieTales marathon for an upcoming lock-in.
It seems that whenever we turn on Veggie Tales, everyone in our family is singing, laughing, and - most importantly - digging just a little deeper into much loved stories from God's Word.
I'm so pleased to share VeggieTales newest DVD, Noah's Ark: A Lesson in Trusting God, with you!
Featuring Wayne Brady as Shem, Noah's son, this newest DVD is a delightful combination of song and story. It's a MUSICAL - and musicals speak to all of us in such unique ways.
In a time when our family is facing a serious health crisis of a grandparent, we all needed to be reminded (yet again) of God's promises for us.
I had been struggling for the right words to talk to my Grant (10) about such a delicate situation, and watching this DVD was just the perfect introduction into our discussion about trusting God - bad things sometimes happen- but God's perfect plan always reveals itself in the end.
We've watched the DVD several times. It includes many bonus features (including a new sing along song, "My Golden Egg".
Grant's been coloring (one of the many supplemental activities found on the VeggieTales site) pictures from the DVD, too.
