Just like everyone else, we have a TON of turkey in our refrigerator. My mom and dad were the last set of company to leave (everyone else left this morning, but they leave tomorrow morning) and it is a cold, windy day here in Georgia. People were content to sit around and watch football today; Miss B, Grandma and I went to get our nails done, but that was about it for the day. I wanted to make a yummy dinner with our leftover turkey, so I made Turkey Pot Pie. The recipe is very easy..... a while back I made a post about my favorite recipe for Chicken Pot Pie. It is simple, and very good! Just substitute turkey for chicken and you're done.
Mix soup, spices, and chunked turkey or chicken into vegetable mixture. Pour into pie shell and cover with top crust and press together edges. Bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake additional 40 minutes.
