This has been the scene this week - all things Christmas... and music.   It's been such a wonderful experience for the children and I.

For the kids, it's great to give them a concentrated week of music and arts instruction.  For myself, it's good to bone up on my group teaching skills and also catch a little bit of time to myself when I'm not in class! 

Each day the children have bells, Orff instruments, choir, art, dance, and a special performance.  Extra activities include a talent show, Friday afternoon showcase performance, and plenty of time with friends.

I'm having a hard time letting my summer slip away.  How is it that there is only another month until we are going full tilt again?

There was absolutely NO SCHOOL going on here this week.   I didn't even read aloud to my kids.   We babysat a friend of ours one day and another day GMan and Miss B each had a friend over to play and spend the night.  Between that and the holiday on Wednesday you get the picture.
